A key text which was mentioned in our Zoom last night involves the first sentence of the following quote which Usener catalogs as part of U67, from Athēnaîos, Deipnosophists, 12.67, 546E:
As stated, the first sentence will be our special focus, but the remainder of the quote illustrates how enemies of Epicurus combine it with PD10 and their general denunciation of pleasure for purposes of disparagement.
