Dear Friends of Epicurus, as a newcomer let me ask for your help. Recently, I've ve stumbled upon a book the author of which reconstructs Epicurus' work. (It was published perhaps by the Oxford University Press). However, I've mysteriously lost the track of the book. So, if somebody is familiar with this book, please remind me of its bibliographical data. Thanks in advance.

Hello! Welcome.
It is possible that you are thinking about this work: https://archive.org/details/Epicur…age/11/mode/2up

David Sedley's Lucretius and the Transformation of Greek Wisdom uses the eponymous Roman poet's work, largely intact, to reconstruct the lost writings of Epicurus (most importantly for Lucretius, Epicurus' thirty seven scrolls On Nature). But that's Cambridge University Press.

No, it was a more recent book. Anyway thanks for reminding me of this edition. The book I have in mind reconstructed Epicurus' lost work (it's a voluminous book).

Thank you, Joshua, maybe. Sedley does reconstruct Epicurus' work. My memory may well deceive me, I have in mind a more detailed book, but Sedley's book is enough for me (for the moment)

I forgot to mention that Emily Austin's Living for Pleasure was published by OUP within the last year or so. Dr. Austin sets a different tone than Sedley's more academic offering, and she has been very kind to us here!
