Fl. late 2nd–early 1st century BC, Rome. Wrote in Latin. The earliest known Roman popularizer of Epicureanism in Latin prose; Cicero criticizes his style as inelegant but credits him (along with Rabirius) with reaching a wide non-elite Roman readership that more polished philosophical writing never touched.
