Here is an illustration in white gel pen, watercolor, and pastel pencil of a quote from "De Rerum Natura" by Lucretius:
"Nothing is more Blissful than to occupy the heights effectively fortified by the teachings of the Wise."
I have an interpretation of this quote.
But I would enjoy hearing what you think this quote means to you.
Also, I am referencing a famous 19th-century painting of the German Romantic movement in this illustration. ....Does anyone have an idea?
