The Teachings of the Wise

Here is an illustration in white gel pen, watercolor, and pastel pencil of a quote from "De Rerum Natura" by Lucretius:

"Nothing is more Blissful than to occupy the heights effectively fortified by the teachings of the Wise."

I have an interpretation of this quote.
But I would enjoy hearing what you think this quote means to you.

Also, I am referencing a famous 19th-century painting of the German Romantic movement in this illustration. ....Does anyone have an idea?

I'm going to guess "Wanderer above the Sea of Fog" by Caspar David Friedrich?

"Wanderer above a Sea of Fog" is near the top of my one hundred favorite paintings. A painting of the German Romantic movement,1818, expressing our relation to the vastness of nature. In my illustration, it is the vastness of the Universe, which is made of atoms and void, and in which we are one with it, as we are made of the same.
