The evolution of the universe and of life on Earth has brought consciousness to fruition across all life forms, especially in humans, who think and reflect on their place in the universe. Thus, I believe that consciousness is the fragrant flower of the evolution of the Cosmos and of life. It is how we experience the world. It is what makes all artistic and philosophical endeavors possible, such as writing this post on Epicurean Friends and you reading it.
...In the illustration above, I have attempted to show how we, as humans, have evolved through Consciouness, of an understanding of our atomic-quantum origins, as a result of the rigors of science.
