Hello everyone! Thank you for the warm welcome.
Since I've known myself, I found that the only way that I'm able to find comfort in this world is by asking questions. As child, this meant science. As an adolescent, mathematics. For some reason, either of them wasn't enough. Eventually, life happened, work got in the way, and I found myself feeling like something was amiss; I wasn't asking questions anymore. Since the pandemic, and with a deep self reflection, I decided to take some personal time to study, since it always brought me pleasure. I ended up rediscovering philosophy. It was in philosophy that I found a safe heaven and company, as I read many questions of philosophers had thought history as my own.
I found this forum by searching for Epicurean texts translations and I'm here to learn as much as I can about the world of Epicurus.
Cheers!
