FYI on the use of Savior applying to Epicurus: RE: Epicurean Similarities With Early Christianity

PS: Not to turn the gallery into a discussion, but just wanted to add: I find it interesting that the "prodigal/profligate" in the Menoikeus letter is άσωτος (asōtos). The word literally is formed from ἀ- (“not”) +‎ σῴζω (sṓizō “save”) this "not saved, having no hope, lost, desperate." So calling Epicurus Σωτήρ (Sōtēr) (as the ancients did!) conveys to me that Epicurus provided hope to people lost in desperate superstition and fear of death and eternal punishment or a drab colorless aftermath.
