A study based primarily on De Finibus I and II

Note that this work is the subject of Norman DeWitt's note as follows. DeWitt calls the article "most commendable" but disagrees with its conclusion that Cicero was innocent of deliberate misrepresentation of Epicurus. Packer thinks he was innocent of intentional misconduct, but DeWitt finds that hard to believe, and my personal view is that DeWitt is probably right on that point. Regardless, the article contains a lot of interesting material.
