Thank you for the warm welcome and I look forward to learning more about Epicureanism. I started dabbling in Epicureanism around two years ago after reading The Socrates Express where Eric Weiner dedicates one chapter to Epicurus. After I read that chapter, I knew I wanted to learn more about this amazing man and started reading and watching as many videos on him as possible. Not sure why it took me so long to discover this forum, but I am glad I did. His philosophies are very similar to the way I have always tried to live my life and to discover that there was a philosopher that taught these ways of life, was an amazing, eye opening experience for me. I look forward to learning more from the experts on this site and very grateful that you all have created this space for all of us on the never ending journey of trying to life in the moment and pursuit of happiness.
