I have been remiss in offering gratitude for this. We have kept busy in learning hedonic calculus and balance even in the midst of a busy time of recovery from sickness and semester exams. He and I have read this post often and pondered it often. He calls you "Cassius Magnus"
James has taken a fancy to baseball and finds pleasure in friends and the simple joy of playing. He also has begun reading a little De La Mettrie "Man a Machine" under my guidance. He has discovered girls! Hence a discussion on responsible sexual exploration and sexual ethics and consent have been topics of late.
He is a good child. He and I are committed to a life of pleasures and every 20th is a holiday. I especially find the idea of an Epicurean Youth course very pleasing.
A very positive note, is that we both have noticed a drop in anxiety by following pleasure. So many in North Carolina are anxious about god and hell and judgement day. Its a joy to just smile and relish the beauty of life and know that od is nothing to fear, and death either.
In Fraternal bonds,
