    Hi Everyone! (Level 03 and above) -- Our next Twentieth Gathering is coming up soon!

    This month's agenda:

    • Welcome
    • Short Opening Reading - in commemoration of Epicurus and Metrodorus, and in celebration of Summer Solstice.
    • Commemoration of Famous Epicureans for June: Lucian of Samosata and Lucius Manlius Torquatus
    • All New Epicurean Philosophy Trivia Game! - aiming to keep it short (5 minutes) and we will have two teams, but will have three breakout rooms (one room for each team, plus a separate room for those who created the game and for those who choose to opt out of playing the game).

    15 years ago this June--I do not recall the day--I was standing under the dome of the Pantheon in Rome. It was built during the reign of Hadrian in the second century, and while the Romans continued to employ smaller domes in their architecture, the scale of the Pantheon was not surpassed anywhere on Earth for over a thousand years.

    This will be a very short "game" (thinking no more than 5 minutes) using the Zoom software, and wanting to make it optional, maybe a separate break out room just in case there is someone who doesn't want to play...still working on getting quiz questions together :)
