Christos Yapijakis: "Mistakes of Cognitive Perception and Epicurean Prudence"

From Christos Yapijakis: I have translated for you and our international friends my Greek presentation slides at the 9th Panhellenic Symposium of Epicurean Philosophy. [The title is "Mistakes of Cognitive Perception and Epicurean Prudence.] This is exactly what I presented (colors, images, citations, except with Greek text). As you will see my presentations aims at a wide audience, but at the same time anonymously to the few people among us that distort Epicurean views. Feel free to publicize it anywhere you think appropriate. With Epicurean friendship, Christos

  • Yes Condorcet, Christos does excellent work. I don't know the background of why he chose this topic, but even when there is disagreement among those of us who admire Epicurus, it is good for us to bring differences to light so we can understand and choose from between the available options.

  • An interesting clear explication. Just a little imagination allows the reader to fill-in the narrative blanks. This is a very worthwhile resource.
