    Hello all, thanks very much for your kind welcome, and thanks particularly for this list and links to texts on Epicureanism. As I mentioned in my email, I was very much interested by Epicurus' Letter to Menoikeus, which I found in Diogenes Laertius. The parts that interested me especially were the latter sections of the letter about "fate" (133&134).

    I've already read the translation published by one of the users here, Don I believe, and plan to make my way through his annotations, which have already proved to be quite elucidative.

    I'm quite new to all things Epicurus so please forgive any ignorance on my part as that of an initiate.
