Thank you everyone, and especially Cassius, for your helpful comments. I don't think I would be enjoying my study of Epicureanism without everyone's help here on this forum. So this is an example of how community is helpful. I think that atheists would probably be the most receptive people to talk to about Epicureanism, because there are so many similarities.
